The Santenay Les Murgers 2022 is a characterful red Burgundy made with care respect for tradition. The wine has a deep purple colour with violet nuances. The nose is fruity with aromas of morel cherry (sour cherry) and raspberry, evolving into blackcurrant, sweet wood and a hint of spice. The palate is harmonious, seductive and elegant, with notes of red fruit.

 Dishes : This wine goes very well with meat dishes such as beef, veal, poultry and game, such as venison and deer, where the rich flavours are perfectly enhanced. It also goes very well with a fondue bourguignonne.

This is achieved through careful vineyard practices such as short pruning, thinning and green harvesting, which limit yields and allow the grapes to ripen optimally. Grassing between the vines helps to control the vigour, while only responsible treatments are applied that respect both the grapes and the environment.

Since August 2021, Domaine Claude Nouveau proudly carries the prestigious Haute Valeur Environnementale level 3 label, a recognition of their environmentally friendly and nature-conscious approach. Thanks to this careful and labor-intensive method, they produce wines that are pure, natural and made with love.
