The soul of Burgundy meets the vibrancy of the Loire – a Sauvignon with limestone, character, and depth.
Saint-Bris is a unique appellation within Burgundy: the only one where Sauvignon has found its home. In the valley of the Yonne, on limestone-rich soils, this grape develops a distinctive character—Burgundian in structure, yet with the lively aromatics that make Sauvignon so recognizable. A wine full of tension, finesse, and expression, where terroir and grape variety perfectly enhance one another.
Body: medium
Sweetness: dry
Acidity: balanced
Food pairing: delicious as an aperitif, with oysters, shellfish, and fish dishes. It pairs wonderfully with goat cheeses, but also surprisingly well with spicy dishes based on curry or saffron.
The estate
Domaine Lamblin et Fils is a family-owned estate in the Chablis region of Burgundy, with a winemaking tradition dating back to 1690. The Lamblin family is known for its craftsmanship and primarily produces white wines from the Chardonnay grape under the appellations Chablis, Petit Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru, and Chablis Grand Cru.
In addition to their Burgundian wines, the estate has expanded its range by offering wines under the IGP Pays d’Oc designation. For this, they source grapes from Languedoc-Roussillon, which are then vinified in their own cellar in Burgundy. This approach allows them to offer a broader and more accessible portfolio of wines.
With respect for tradition and terroir, Domaine Lamblin et Fils combines centuries-old expertise with modern techniques to produce quality wines that are appreciated both locally and internationally.

The vinification follows traditional methods in stainless steel tanks, with temperature control to ensure optimal expression of the aromatic components. A full malolactic fermentation provides roundness and softness, allowing the natural freshness of the Sauvignon to remain beautifully balanced.
The result is a wine with notes of citrus (grapefruit, mandarin), peach, and blackcurrant leaf, sometimes with an exotic hint of lychee. With aging, it develops aromas of jam and candied fruit without losing its lively core.
