The estate

In the heart of the Combe de Savoie, in Saint-Pierre d'Albigny, Domaine Saint-Germain organically cultivates emblematic Savoyard grape varieties on clay-limestone soils originating from an ancient debris cone. Under the careful guidance of Raphaël Saint-Germain, the vineyards are cultivated with respect and the winemaking process emphasises softness and purity. The wines are precise and expressive, combining alpine freshness with a richness of aromas, perfectly reflecting the typical characteristics of their terroir.

  • The grapes are gently pressed using a pneumatic press to preserve the aromatic purity of the grape variety.

Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation takes place without the addition of sulphur, in order to preserve the integrity of the fruit and the identity of the terroir as much as possible.

Maturation in tanks preserves the freshness and purity on the palate, while allowing the aromatic complexity to express itself. This technical choice results in a straightforward, precise wine that remains faithful to its Savoyard origins.
