A balanced and fruity red wine: Merlot for softness, Cabernet for structure and character.
This Merlot-Cabernet from the south of France combines power and elegance in a single glass. In the sheltered vineyards at the foot of the slopes, the grapes ripen under optimal sunshine, resulting in a full-bodied, fruit-driven wine with a supple structure. An ideal blend in which the roundness of Merlot and the firmness of Cabernet perfectly complement each other.

The estate
Domaine Lamblin et Fils is a family-owned estate in the Chablis region of Burgundy, with a winemaking tradition dating back to 1690. The Lamblin family is renowned for its craftsmanship and primarily produces white wines from the Chardonnay grape under the appellations Chablis, Petit Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru, and Chablis Grand Cru.
In addition to their Burgundian wines, the estate has expanded its range by offering wines under the IGP Pays d’Oc designation. For this, they source grapes from Languedoc-Roussillon, which are then vinified in their own cellar in Burgundy. This approach allows them to offer a broader and more accessible portfolio of wines.
With respect for tradition and terroir, Domaine Lamblin et Fils combines centuries-old expertise with modern techniques to produce quality wines that are appreciated both locally and internationally.

The grapes are vinified separately, as Merlot and Cabernet reach their optimal ripeness at different times.
After fermentation, a three-week maceration follows, with daily pump-overs and temperature control.
The wine is aged for 8 months in tanks and filtered before bottling. The result is a red wine in which the roundness and fruit of the Merlot combine with the firm structure of the Cabernet, creating a harmonious and enjoyable tasting experience.
