The estate
In the heart of the Combe de Savoie, in Saint-Pierre d'Albigny, Domaine Saint-Germain cultivates emblematic Savoyard grape varieties organically on clay-limestone soils formed from an ancient alluvial fan. Under the careful guidance of Raphaël Saint-Germain, the vineyards are tended with respect, and the winemaking process emphasises gentleness and purity. The wines are precise and expressive, combining alpine freshness with a wealth of aromas, perfectly reflecting the distinctive character of their terroir.

The harvest, composed of half whole clusters and half destemmed grapes, is placed in vats in a mille-feuille arrangement, promoting gentle and gradual extraction.
The 12-day maceration in vats takes place without the addition of sulphites, in order to preserve the purity and honesty of the fruit. Pneumatic pressing ensures fine, delicate tannins.
Ageing in tanks maintains the wine’s freshness and authenticity, offering a faithful expression of the grape variety and its terroir.
