The estate
In the heart of the Combe de Savoie, in Saint-Pierre d'Albigny, Domaine Saint-Germain organically cultivates emblematic Savoyard grape varieties on clay-limestone soils originating from an ancient debris cone. Under the careful guidance of Raphaël Saint-Germain, the vineyards are cultivated with respect and the winemaking process emphasises softness and purity. The wines are precise and expressive, combining alpine freshness with a richness of aromas, perfectly reflecting the typical characteristics of their terroir.

The grapes are harvested by hand and placed whole in vats, without the addition of sulphites.
Ten days of maceration in tanks ensures gentle and precise extraction, preserving the delicate identity of the grape variety. Pneumatic pressing ensures elegance and smoothness of the tannins, while ageing in tanks preserves purity and aromatic freshness.
This sober and respectful approach reveals the unique character of the Persan.
