A highly authentic organic champagne, still rare in Champagne, combining the vitality of Meunier with the purity of zero dosage for an elegant and nature-friendly experience.

This 2020 millésimé champagne, made exclusively from Meunier grapes, accurately expresses the freshness and purity of the Vallée de la Marne. The cuvée reflects a quest for authenticity and purity of fruit, without artifice, revealing the elegance of the terroir in its purest form. Aged on the lees for at least 36 months, this wine has a fine effervescence and great aromatic complexity, faithful to the artisanal and organic spirit of the estate.

Bubbles: fine and well integrated

Food pairing: this organic champagne pairs well with fresh vegetable tartare, roasted asparagus, creamy mushroom risotto or light fish dishes. It is also perfect as an aperitif or to celebrate special occasions.

The estate

The family estate is located in Vincelles, in the heart of the Marne Valley, and covers 7.5 hectares spread across Verneuil, Mont-Saint-Père, Passy-sur-Marne and Barzy-sur-Marne. Since 2013, the vineyard has been certified for organic farming and a large part of it – namely 5.95 hectares – is cultivated biodynamically, with Demeter certification obtained in 2023.

The winegrower uses environmentally friendly and organic methods: biodynamic preparations to stimulate soil life, deep roots of the vines, natural essential oils to combat mildew... These methods are designed to strengthen the balance between the vines, the soil and the surrounding ecosystem.

In the cellar, intervention is kept to a minimum: little or no chaptalisation, no cold treatment, very limited use of sulphites. Each cuvée thus expresses the purity of the grape and the unique character of the terroir. The estate has set itself the goal of producing artisanal, authentic and lively champagnes that sincerely reflect the identity of the Vallée de la Marne.

In 2018, the brand name was revived by their granddaughter Sandie and her husband Ludovic, who are continuing the family tradition. They produce refined champagnes by combining the best of the vineyards and terroirs, using the three main grape varieties of Champagne: Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

  • The wine is made in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to keep the purity and fruity character of the Meunier. Malolactic fermentation is deliberately avoided to keep the best tension and freshness.

Without any dosage (0 g/l), the cuvée shows the most honest expression of the harvest year and the terroir.

After the formation of foam, the wine rests on slats for at least 36 months, developing complexity, finesse and a delicate bubble.
