This vieille vignes red wine (80% Carignan and 20% Syrah), made from old vines from 1952, will delight you with its aromas of red and black fruits (blackberry, blueberry) with an elegant peppery touch.
Scents of garrigue complete the deep, complex nose. The long finish is supported by a very discreet tannic structure with a fine texture.
 
LAVIN is the exclusive worldwide seller of Domaine de Gazel wine, with the exception of the estate itself, where the wine is also available. This makes it a unique exclusivity with which to surprise your guests.

Dishes: this wine goes well with somewhat heavier dishes, such as red meat (beef/veal) or pasta. It also goes well with a nice cheese. 
 
The Domaine
Domaine de Gazel is a family estate in Laure-Minervois, located in the Minervois wine region. The estate covers 15 hectares, 10 of which are planted with old vines between 25 and 70 years old (vieilles vignes). They cultivate Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, Cinsault, Cot and Macabeu, among others, with a focus on environmentally friendly and organic viticulture.
 
All grapes are harvested by hand, and vinification and bottling are done on the estate itself. Production is small-scale, which makes for authentic and characterful wines.
