This “blouge” wine, which falls somewhere between red and white, embodies the new wave of fresh and light wines that are highly sought after internationally: delicious, fruity, and irresistible for beautiful spring and summer days.
This original wine, which is neither quite red, rosé, nor white, has a light and brilliant color typical of red wines with very low extraction. It is made primarily from Cinsault, supplemented with Grenache, and has a delightful nose of fresh red fruit and a smooth and refreshing palate. The natural roundness of the Cinsault is combined with the fruity character of the Grenache, resulting in a particularly tasty and easy-drinking wine. This light and thirst-quenching wine is best served chilled and perfectly embodies the spirit of a convivial, refreshing wine.

The estate
Château d'Or et de Gueules is located in the heart of the Costières de Nîmes vineyards in southern France and is known for its commitment to the environment and its respectful approach to viticulture. The estate prioritizes sustainable agriculture: soil cultivation to limit the use of herbicides, natural organic fertilizers, the use of wooden stakes, and a reduction in the use of plastic in agriculture. The estate is also energy-independent thanks to solar power and is part of a comprehensive approach to maintaining the balance between the vineyard, the terroir, and the environment. This philosophy translates into authentic, flavorful wines that remain true to the expression of the Mediterranean terroir.
Blouge "Parle à mon fût" VDF 2024
The “Parle à mon Fût” cuvée is a “blouge,” a portmanteau of blanc (white) and rouge (red). It is made using an original winemaking method in which red grapes (Cinsault) and white grapes (Grenache blanc) are fermented together.
The wine is made from organically and biodynamically grown grapes and is fermented in 500-liter barrels with bâtonnage on the lees to add body and flavor. Aging then continues in concrete tanks, which preserves the wine’s freshness and fruitiness and gives it a lovely texture on the palate.
This winemaking method produces a smooth and aromatic wine, intended to be enjoyed young in a convivial atmosphere.
