The estate

Domaine des Bérioles is a family business that focuses on organic and biodynamic wine production. It is located in the Saint-Pourçain region and produces wines from the unique Tressallier grape, as well as Chardonnay for white wines and Gamay and Pinot Noir for red wines.

The vineyards are cultivated with care, focusing on nature and the environment, and the harvest is picked at the right time to preserve the best of the grapes. The wines are produced with great attention and respect for the terroir, and the domaine follows a lunar calendar for both the work in the vineyard and the cellar. The domaine offers a varied range of wines, including white, red, rosé, and sparkling wines.

  • The grapes are received on a vibrating sorting table, where 4 to 6 people carefully select the best grapes. After destemming, the grapes are placed in concrete conical vats, where they macerate for about 4 weeks. During this process, pigeages and remontages are performed daily to guarantee the optimal extraction.

After alcoholic fermentation, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged in concrete vats for 6 months, which contributes to its complex flavours.

Finally, the wine is filtered and bottled at the estate.
